At Planet Ark we recognise that you, as a green consumer, may want a bit of help in choosing more environmentally responsible products. However, we also realise there’s more to making a product "environmentally-friendly" than just sticking a cute animal on the label or making some warm and fuzzy but unsubstantiated claims!

Planet Ark supports a limited range of greener products. Click on the links in the right hand side menu to find our more about these products and why we support them.

Firstly, Planet Ark supports these products because they have met with certain environmental standards. They must offer a more environmentally responsible alternative to the commonly used products that are on the market, while still being a good quality product.

Secondly, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of these products is donated to Planet Ark, or the company that produces them sponsors Planet Ark’s environmental initiatives.

These proceeds are an important source of funding for Planet Ark. We do not seek funding through membership or subscriptions, as we do not wish to cut across the funding mechanism for other membership-based green groups.

Please do look at these products and consider buying them, instead of the more environmentally harmful products that are commonly available. You’ll not only be buying a good product that’s better for our planet, you’ll also be supporting Planet Ark and our campaigns.
